Interested in the Political World?
Are you interested in knowing what makes a good political leader? How the criminal justice system really works? What lawyers do? What happens on the campaign trail? What are the obstacles to peace in the world? Are you concerned about critical issues, such as how state and local governments handle the cost of homeland security? What is the role of the United States in the 21st century world? Are we winning the war on drugs?

Academic Profiles
Law School, Graduate School, and a Career: Political science is an ideal preparation for law school and graduate school. Our graduates are accepted to law and graduate programs across the country. Whether it be a career in education, law enforcement, the federal government, an international organization, public administration, or law, the political world has vast opportunities for those with a sound liberal arts education in political science.

Being There
See the process up close...In Washington D.C., Cairo, Egypt, New Orleans, Richmond, New York, London, and Vancouver, Canada. Being there is everything in politics, and our students travel the world to see the process with understanding, dedicated faculty. Students interested in studying the criminal justice system visit a federal penitentiary. Students interested in political campaigns visit the New Hampshire primaries and meet the presidential candidates. Students interested in international relations and comparative politics travel the world competing in Model U.N. conferences, and host one of their own each Spring.
