The Study of Political Science
As an integral part of a liberal arts education, political science helps you identify and define important issues in the world, think critically about those issues, and encourage others to make a positive difference. Studying political science also helps you improve your analytical and problem-solving skills as you learn to develop and evaluate arguments using various methods of analysis.
By exposing you to new cultures, values, ideas and perspectives - from ancient Greek political theory to modern techniques of statistical analysis - political science provides you with rich opportunities to investigate human society and understand what it means to be a responsible citizen in today's diverse world.
